my favorite almost soup
I've been making this for some time now. It started out as fortified mashed potatoes until I didn't measure the water correctly. It turns out like loose mashed potatoes, but not quite soup. Today for the first time I used the dehydrated FRONTIER CO-OP Deluxe Vegetable Blend for Soup mix. Up until now I had been using Harmony House Dehydrated Vegetable Soup. With only this one test the Frontier seemed to rehydrate closer to 'fresh'. I also purchased Mother Earth Products Dried Vegetable Soup Mix to test in the coming weeks. I should have a picture here but I ate it before I thought about taking one. My Favorite Almost Soup - slwtc* Servings - 2 (1 as a meal for me) Prep time - 4 minutes, cook ~28 minutes, 32 total Equipment - electric pressure cooker Ingredients 3 cups water 3/8 cup dehydrated vegetable soup mix (more or less to your taste) 1 pkg Idahoan Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes mix (select your own favorite) ...
